Update on Elder Scicluna...

Well I promised myself I wouldn't do anymore posts for awhile BUT we just recieved some pictures of Paul from his mission, which is what I want to share with you now...

Here's a letter to Elder Scicluna's mission president that he wished for us to share with others:

G'day President Jolliffe

Was a great week for us this week in the waipukurau area. Was hard but it was very rewarding too be able too work this week in the area im in. I thoroughly enjoyed the zone conference that we had and greatly appreciated the many things that we were able too learn. I greatly appreciated the study guide for studying the scriptures.

I would love too tell you of an experience that we had yesterday at church, we have been teaching this older less active lady and her partner the gospel for many months now. Every week that we go around for dinner she loves too tell us of her family and of the love that she has for them. Every sunday that she attends she always sees the little children run around in sacrament causing a muck and she always tells us of how much she would love to be able too have her grandchildren come too church.
Little too our surprise we have been having this boy attend our youth group activities since the very begginging, we encourage all our kids too attend on a sunday and yesterday was the first day that they have been attending. We had 4ym come. Elder Skewes and i sat next too these ym. As we were talking too these ym the older lady who we have been re teaching sat down quietly, the young man who was sitting next too me popped his head up and just said "theres my grandman." Without being fazed they both saw each other in amazement and with an almost shock in there face, had a little grin too each other
Later that day the grandmother told us how much she appreciated us and how much the gospel is starting too re bless her and her family. She shared with us how she broke down in tears during relief society as the dream that she never thought she could have was in her hands.
It was such and eye opener of the power that this gospel brings and how this work and gospel really does bless familys.
